Bomba rice from Molí de Rafelet is a rice which is grown, milled and packaged in the land of the Ebro Delta Natural Park; from our own limited harvest and those of small farmers whose production we supervise.

It is a rice with a great capacity for absorbing flavours, will not turn sticky and the rice grain more than doubles in size during the cooking process.

Bomba rice from Molí de Rafelet is completely hand milled and has a true flavour of rice which is exceptional, being milled in a hand crafted wooden mill and not containing any chemical treatment. Because of this it is vacuum-packed in order not to lose any of its culinary properties and to keep its recently milled quality.

Once opened, or if the little sack loses its vacuum, the rice has to be kept in the fridge or freezer in its cloth sack.

Cooking time is from 10 to 12 minutes, that is, it cooks between 3-4 minutes before other Bomba rices, while keeping all its properties. The rice should be taken out of the water at the right moment. For paellas you need 2.5 of stock to 1 of rice.

Specially indicated for paellas, drier rices, soupy rices or creamy rices.

Bomba brown rice from Molí de Rafelet requires 3.5 of stock to 1 of rice. It is cooked for between 30-45 minutes.
